This episode of the radio show centers the mental, emotional, and actual experiences of people from around the world (including the U.S., Mexico, London, Pakistan, Spain, Germany, Honduras, and Finland) as they move throughout Winter; from the holidays, to New Years, to the midwinter blues, and eventually looking toward spring. Interviews with friends and family either sit on top of instrumentals, or are intros/outros for songs in ways that enhance the meaning and impact - and, at times, alter the context - of both the songs and the interviews. With a relatively steady narrative and a handful of non-sequiturs, this project aims to capture, corroborate, and contrast worldwide experiences of Winter and the stories and coping mechanisms that help people process what is typically a trying time for most humans.
