This is a sample-processing-based Max MSP patch made for the sole purpose of forging a lane of accessibility for those who are unable – whether temporally, financially, or educationally – to step into the sound art world and begin to develop not only an understanding of the magic of sample processing, but also an understanding of signal flow and the importance it has on the creation of a sound. Designed to be as straightforward and non-intimidating as possible, the soft colors and minimal UI allow for those outside of the sound art world to feel comfortable diving in, while still maintaining a level of depth and unpredictability to keep even professional sound artists engaged.
